There's A Change A Brewin'

So, maybe the black & lime green was a little drastic, I'll give you that. But DBM is almost 2 years old, & I'm thinkin' it's time for a change. A big change.

I even went out & bought an HTML for Dummies book to try & figure out how to change things. I'm not having much luck with it though, since for some reason my 'learning by osmosis' plan {read ~ having the book unopened in the same room as I} is not working as fantastic as I thought it would.

I'm a super-genius is so many, many ways {I'll extol my own virtues later, if I remember} but the designing of a webpage is, at the mo, quite beyond me. I can't even figure out how to change the colour of my blog header! Well, maybe if I did a bit of reading, & a little more researching, I could, but there are NEW BOOKS at Chez Wilma that are BEGGING to be read, & a DemonSpawn to pet, & a room to paint...

Ah, yes! I'm painting a room! Well, not at this particular minute, but I'm working on it. I've got the little pot of crack-fill & a spatula thingy right here beside me on the desk. I'm doing it. Sometime in the next few days. & it will be glorious.

This is one of the last rooms in the house to be fixed, Wilmanized as it were. It is currently bereft of furniture, as we are anxiously awaiting the arrival of a new bed & I have yet to contact my 'Furniture Guy' with the plans for the new stuff. Yes, I have A Guy. He makes me stuff & it's beautiful. I know what you're thinking, "But Wilma, how do you find time to do all that you do {reading, petting said DemonSpawn, working diligently at 2 casual jobs, etc, etc} & still design furniture?"

What can I say? I'm gifted. No, for reals.

Anyhoo, the current colour is a kind of dark rosy pink, & we're {I say "we" to be polite to Puffy & include him in things, but let's be frank, I picked the colour} going with a soft, relaxing sage green kinda colour. It'll be fab!

Enough chitchat. Must get to work. After a spot of lunch & a brief, 2 hour nap, that is.

Good luck on the blog changing thingy! That's one thing that has eluded me since I started mine. My motto is "why fix something if it isn't broken?"...good excuses huh? Anyways lots of luck. Hope the painting goes well...QoH
