Friday had the biggest crowd of the weekend, a total of 137. The paparazzi and President Buckwheat of TSI were among those in attendance.
Does anyone remember a certain game show from the 60’s/70’s hosted by Chuck Woolery? Boys and girls, can you say "Gong Show"? Yeah, that was Friday’s performance. I kept expecting a huge shepherd’s hook to come out from the curtain and yank us off! In fact, I think I requested it from J-Rod.
I can honestly say this was a night of firsts for me. I’ve never been upstaged by a fridge door before; never felt so completely lost THAT many times during a performance; never completely re-written a whole act on stage in front of an audience; never felt such trepidation (note super-genius use of big word) at going back on stage for the third act; never wanted to show to end SO BADLY that I actually prayed for a power outage.
On the plus side, no-one in the audience knew that we were completely screwing up ~ in fact, some of the audience thought the fridge door attacking me was part of the script. I’m just not sure if I want to see the video or not. Maybe after a few "Magatitties".

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Gong Show was a television variety show/game show spoof that was broadcast on NBC and in first-run syndication in the United States from 1976 until 1980. It was hosted by Chuck Barris.
I stand corrected.
But I'm still a super-genius.
