The Thought-Provoking Wilma

Blogging & real-life friend Blue has honoured me with an award. Yes, moi! Honest & for true!

Congratulations, you've won a

Why, you ask? Well, in her own words..."because she's a deep thinker & makes me think too!" I'm blushing. Well, almost. It may be an allergic reaction to something. Or a hangover. But thanx much, Blue!

The participation rules are simple:
1. Write a post with links to 5 blogs that make you think,
2. Link to this post so that people can easily find the exact origin of the meme,
3. Optional: Proudly display the 'Thinking Blogger Award' with a link to the post that you wrote (here is an alternative silver version if gold doesn't fit your blog).

Finally! The respect, admiration & recognition I deserve! If you ask me, it's been a long time coming & really, surprising that I don't have more awards. Hey, yeah! Where the hell are all my well-deserved awards?

Ahem. I digress.

Now, according to the rules, I must nominate 5 other bloggers for this award. Why 5? Why not 2 or 13? Being a super-genius, I have a theory. According to one of my brothers-in-law {I have 12}, the answer to everything in the universe is 5. Seriously. He says this. On a regular basis. So, now I can only conclude that he must be right.

My nominations:
1. Kris ~ she expresses herself like I wish I could. Plus, she has kitties!
2. French Panic ~ what can I say? I just really like her writing & reading of her struggle with asshats at work & learning French {topics not necessarily related}.
3. Pamplemousse ~ a great photographer with a unique perspective of the world around him.
4. Schmutzie ~ not only is she a great writer, but her photos make me weep with envy. & there are kitties in her life!
5. Mrs. X ~ her writings about her struggle with infertility make me pause in my carefree childfree world & think of the effect my careless words may have on others around me. She has kitties, too!

Thank you all for sharing your talents on the interweb. May you "stay drunk on writing so reality cannot destroy you" {Ray Bradbury}.

Oh my! I never thought I would be given such an honor. Thank you so much! I absolutely love reading your blog - you are hysterical. So, thank you so much for this award. In the words of Sally Field, "You like me! You really like me!"

I'm all out of clever things to write this morning. I've only had the one coffee so far.

An award. For me. For making people think. HUZZAH!

gonna go do some more thinking.

Thank you. This whole blogging thing is kind of weird, not knowing who is reading or what they are thinking as they are reading.

You make me think too, you know.
