Top 6 Movies I Want To See

I'm looking forward to Oscar season, & the annual partay at Pebbles & BamBam's house where we partake of the vino, eat, & squabble politely over who will win the coveted "Not The Loser" trophy.

I have changed my strategy slightly this year, & am planning to actually watch some of the movies nominated in various categories so as to base my choices on personal experience as opposed to sheer psychic feelings ~ since they are OBVIOUSLY not working, since I have come in LAST for the last two years.

Anyhoo, here are the movies that I am really looking forward to seeing in the next few weeks {I say weeks because Puffy & I rarely rent/watch movies anymore & I'm hoping that's a more realistic goal}:

6. Babel ~ Best Picture. Supporting Actress, Directing, Original Screenplay, Original Score, Film Editing
5. Pan's Labyrinth ~ Foreign Language Film, Original Screenplay, Art Direction, Cinematography, Original Score, Makeup
4. The Departed ~ Best Picture, Supporting Actor, Directing, Adapted Screenplay, Film Editing
3. The Queen ~ Best Picture, Actress, Directing, Original Screenplay, Original Score, Costume
2. The Last King of Scotland ~ Actor
1. Little Miss Sunshine ~ Best Picture, Supporting Actor, Supporting Actress, Original Screenplay

Honourable Mentions:
Half Nelson ~ Actor
Venus ~ Actor
Smokin' Aces ~ just because it looks good

I don't even care if I'm the official "Not the Loser" - I just don't want to be the losiest Loser this year.

And yeah, we's got some catching up to do!

My advice is not to waste your time on Pan's. Was tres disappointing. At least see the other ones first, esp. the Departed, which is genius.

And yes, we have seen most of these. Still not Babel, though, of which I am expecting great things.
