Friday performance night was attended by Buckwheat, president of TSI, who was there in his official capacity to present me (yes, ME ~ Wilma, the super-genius) with an award.
I was surprised and pleased to accept a Saskatchewan Centennial Leadership Award. I was nominated by TSI for my work at the local and provincial level in theatre. The award is to "honour someone within the organization who is viewed as a future leader, one who will carry the organization into the future". No pressure there, hey? And thankfully, hockey season was over so I made the front page of the local rag. That's right, boys and girls, I'm playing in the big leagues now!
It reads "Centennial Leadership Award".
