Top 6 Things That Piss Me Off

All righty roo, boys & girls, it's Top 6 time again. & this time, we're delving into the psyche of Wilma, farther than skin deep; we're traveling way, way down into the dermis to find out what really burns my ass besides a flame about 3 feet high {thanks, Dolly, for that one!}.

So, here we go, Top 6 things that piss me off today, in no particular order:

6. People who don't return emails. If I have emailed you a question, that mean that I require an answer. Not in 3 weeks, not never, but ASAP.

5. People who don't return phone calls. If I have phoned you, & am just calling to chat I will either a)hang up or b)leave you a message saying I was just calling to chat. If I have phoned you, & request a call back, I want/need to talk to you about something & you should FUCKING CALL ME BACK! That's why you have a damn message manager in the first place, not?!?

4. People who can't work out their issues with others. If you have a problem with someone, Man Up & tell them to their face. Be an adult & talk to the person about it. If they are a friend, or someone you want in your life, do the mature thing & resolve the problem. You know what won't lead to a resolution? Sniping & making snide remarks about that person when they aren't around. You know what that will lead to? Resentment & frustration in all the people who witness your Grade 7 girl behaviour.

3. "Are you sure?"
This phrase is guaranteed to send me over the edge. I don't say things if I am not sure. If I am not sure, I will say I am not sure. Asking me this will ensure that I will lose it, Berline! I do not handle being doubted very well.

2. People who believe that I am not allowed/able to offer parenting advice because I don't have children of my own. I don't need to have procreated to know that laughing at your child when he does something wrong is not the best approach to raising respectful, well-behaved human beings. I am perfectly capable of forming opinions based on my observations of other people & their behaviour/parenting. I don't need to have personal experience to have built basic beliefs & guidelines to raising children. I don't think that having a child guarantees an automatic pass in the parenting class, just as you shouldn't believe that my NOT having a child means I am not entitled to have an opinion on what works & what doesn't whilst child-rearing. I don't claim to have all the answers, but don't dismiss all my suggestions based merely on the fact that I am child-free.

1. People who require me to explain every step in my thought process. I don't have the time or inclination to explain to you how I got from "a" to "f". Just take my word for it that options were weighed, experience was called upon, & "f" is what is required.
