Allergies? Or Something More Sinister...

I've been feeling great lately. I've managed to go for months, MONTHS I tell you, actually over a full year!!!! without getting sick. Quick! Someone knock on something woody ~ I don't want to jinx myself cuz this is a track record, boys & girls. This is the longest IN MY WHOLE MISERABLE EXISTENCE that I have gone without being sick or on prescription drugs.

Until this morning.

I woke up with a slight scratchiness in my throat, a minor drizzling of the nostrils, a teeny, tiny, wee bit of cotton stuffed right betwixt the eyes. Could be allergies, I guess. Could be a delayed reaction to a full week of chain-smokin' & staying up past 3 AM. Could be the chilly hotel room {window permanently cracked to clear out smokey air}.

I guess I'll find out in a day or so whether the record is intact or in dire straits.
