QQ ~ Democracy

"Individual commitment to a group effort -- that is what makes a team work, a company work, a society work, a civilization work." ~ Vince Lombardi

"Voting is a right, a priviledge, & a duty. The more people that participate, the better democracy works." ~ Wilma

Today is the day, Canada! I don't care who you vote for, but make sure that you do. The only way to throw away your vote is to not cast it.

UPDATE:

CanWest News says that “[a]ccording to preliminary figures, Canada recorded its lowest voter turnout in history on Tuesday with only 59.1% of eligible Canadians voting. That breaks the previous low from the 2004 election when 60.9% voted.”

Jackasses. Get off your ass next time & show some interest in what goes on around you!
