Abandoned

One of the blogs that I visit daily is no longer there. It's just gone, deleted from the interweb with callous disregard for those of us out there who cared about what was going on. I actually worried about the author, as she seemed lonely & depressed, & so I checked in often to make sure she was still posting. & now, it's just gone.

I should have known. I should have been prepared. This is the second time she's done this ~ although the first blog of hers I found was just abandoned, not removed. Yeah, removed is a good word. Removed like something unwanted & unloved. Like that hairy mole on your brow that everyone always stared at when they were talking to you.

I vow, I solemnly promise you boys & girls, if I evah decide to leave all this glamour & fame behind, you'll get some notice ~ a parting post, a "Sayonara", an impolite "F-U!" ~ something that will let you know what's what. DBM will live on in cyberspace. I won't just delete the blog.
