Top 6 New TV Shows

It's that time again, boys & girls! Time for the new TV season. It's fresh, it's innovative {well, probably not, it's probably just a rehash of the same old, same old, but who knows? We could be pleasantly surprised}. Who's excited? No, I mean EXCITED?!?

There are some fab new shows to look forward to, some fab actors returning to the small screen, some fab plot lines, & some fab laughter coming from the audience of ONE of these shows.

Here they are, no particular order:

6. Pushing Daisies ~ A pie-baker has the power to resurrect the dead. The concept looks really good, but maybe I've just been sucked in by a really great editing job on the trailers. I'll give it a shot. Wednesdays on CTV/ABC.
5. Back to You ~ starring Kelsey Grammer & Patricia Heaton. Yeah, that's all well & good but Fred Willard is in it & fantastic! Plus, you can hear Wilma, Peanut & Hussy laughing up a storm in the pilot. Don't miss it Wednesdays on Fox/Global.
4. K'Ville ~ Cops try to restore order in New Orleans two years after Katrina. Looks similar to "Boomtown" & "10-8", both sadly cancelled before their time. Mondays on Fox.
3. Dirty Sexy Money ~ are you kidding me? What's not to like? Donald Sutherland on a TV show?!? Money, greed, power, reminiscent of "Dallas" & "Dynasty". I'm in! Wednesdays on CTV/ABC.
2. Women's Murder Club ~ welcome back Angie Harmon! She's so pretty & that voice! Four women – a lieutenant, a reporter, a medical examiner and a lawyer – create a secret sisterhood to bust the glass ceiling, solve crimes and navigate their personal lives Fridays on ABC.
1. Reaper ~ starring Bret Harrison, whom I enjoyed immensely in "Grounded for Life" & "The Loop". This offbeat comedy features a twentysomething who finds out that his parents sold his soul to the devil. Literally. Looks pleasingly quirky. Tuesdays on CityTV.
