I just want to get this out there right from the onset ~ I am not complaining about the heat. Anytime I might start, I just think about the frosty -30 C temperatures of January & I quickly shut my yap. I like the heat. Of course, I'm blessed with an air conditioned house, vehicle & workplace, so I'm not ever actually IN the heat if I don't want to be. My flowers are looking quite nice with all the sunshine {note to self: water the damn plants before it gets too hot!}. I was up at 6:30 AM {YES! IT'S TRUE!} for a few moments & it was already 19 outside {that's 66 F for you old timers} which doesn't seem that hot, but for 6:30 AM, it's warm.
Anywoo, I digress.
What I wanted to do was show you what the last couple weeks have been like here in sunny, sunny Dodge. All dates are July.

You know, now that I'm looking at it, remembering my childhood when Fahrenheit was bandied about willy-nilly where I lived, it doesn't seem that hot. I remember not even considering it hot unless it was over 90 F. So nevermind, we're fine!

HI:
It is raining here in Luxembourg and only 16 degrees at noon.
I am not sure which is worse.
Are they able to put the balloons up? Do they fly in the rain?
Hope you're having a good time, regardless. Can't wait to hear your stories when you come home.
It's noon and already 34!
No ballooning yet , just preparations.
First competitive flights begin thursday morning with a good forecast
