For the first time since PK & I moved into Casa Wilma, we had the carpets professionally cleaned.
Wow. All I can say is Wow.
The carpets are not the color I thought they were.
Very impressed with the work done, the price was okay, & I'm very pleased with the results. Not only did we get the two living rooms sparkling clean, but also the dining room chairs {there were some vino stains ~ what could that be from, Betty?} & the mats out in the garage were given a good once/twice over.
In other news, spent the day feeling like crap-in-a-bag. One of my many, MANY ailments decided to flare up today, so I was not good company for the smiling carpet man or PK today. I think, somehow, they soldiered on without me.
Yesterday was spent like all Wednesdays ... socializing. Wednesday is my lunch date day, my loitering around the Red day, my coffee with Gladys day. Needless to say, I don't get much else done on Wednesdays. Considering the amount of time I've spent hermitting, I need a socializing day once a week ~ if only to remind myself how to talk to others with two legs, not four.
