Wild!

On the way to K-town last week for my non-existent dental appointment, I was treated to a glorious sight ~ two meese {the plural of goose is geese, the plural of moose must be meese. It's logic} grazing in the field beside the road. Being early for a change {what, WHAT?} I pulled over & took some photos. The bull was kind enough to lift his head & pose without me having to resort to honking at him. I was a little concerned he may charge the vehicle, & I didn't want to be responsible for any more damage.

Apparently, this is getting to be a common sight in our area, but I certainly hope I never get so jaded that the majesty of these beautiful creatures no longer thrills me.

Great pic's.
What an amazing sight to start the day with. Do hope they're still hanging around next month!

Well I more want to hear about your dental woes but I'll comment on the meese instead...

We have one that comes into our yard to eat our grain. They are quite a sight, have you ever seen one run? They look so clumsy and then when they start to run they are so graceful. Unlike me. I do not look graceful running, which I do only in emergency situations.

Yes, the running is amazing! They look like they're just loping along & suddenly they've travelled across two fields!

Apparently, I also do not exhibit a lot of grace when I run. So to be on the safe side, I try to avoid all leg-involved movements as much as possible.

The walking takes place in the dark.
