Two More Days....

I'm off to work again today. These are the last two of my 13 days this month. It's been really hard, considering the Cloud of Doom that's been hanging around my head like Pigpen's perpetual dust-cloud, but I've managed to not alienate all my co-workers. The ol' Wilma Charm is still alive & well.

I honestly don't know how I ever managed to work full-time & still have a life, but I did it. I must have been younger & had more energy.... or maybe just more booze in my system.
I was asked a week ago if I would consider a job-share position at work {week on, week off} & I must say I giggled a little. Even though it would mean the car might get paid off a little sooner ~ HA! as if I would actually not spend all my paycheque on shoes & purses ~ I turned it down with an emphatic "NO!"

I like what I do. I like that I'm a worker bee with no responsibilities who saunters in, serves the clients, & leaves. I like that I have no "work pending" file, don't have to do much problem-resolution, & can't advise people on investments. I like being told what to do.

Until that changes, I'm staying right where I am.
