Best Christmas Evah!

Given the strong toe-hold that the Bad Mood has had on me all month, Puffy & I decided ~ quite wisely ~ to spend Christmas Day quietly together alone in our house with the door locked. No one stopped by, & once he got home from work, we went nowhere. Let me tell you, boys & girls, it was fabulous!

I spent the day in my pajamas, we watched the Star Trek marathon on Space, & we ate a leisurely Christmas meal together over a bottle of Champagne. There was no looking at the clock, no anxiety over getting somewhere on time, no "oh, we better start getting stuff ready". Honestly, the best decision made all year {okay, next to getting paperized}.

One item of note ~ I now know what is meant by a 'champagne headache'.
