Top 6 Brushes With Celebrity

We all have these stories of meeting, seeing, stalking famous people ~ brushes with celebrities that make a permanent impression on us. Or mayhaps it was a friend of a friend, or your uncle’s brother-in-law’s next door neighbour’s cousin’s dentist who met someone, and you feel that relationship is JUST close enough that you can tell the story as your own. Whatever.
These are some of mine, in no particular order:

6. Walked by Lawrence Gowan in the Miami airport.
5. Brushed elbows with Knowlton Nash at the U of S when he was there as a guest speaker.
4. Made eye contact and exchanged smiles with Lesley Anne Warren on Sunset Blvd in LA.
3. Ate at the same restaurant at the same time as Carla Collins.
2. Shook hands with Brian Mulroney while he was PM.
1. Partied with Merl Bryck at Cheers in Saskatoon.

Honourable Mention:
Got sweated on by Meat Loaf at Bezz Gardens in Saskatoon.
Met and talked to cast of “Fame:The Musical” over cocktails in Saskatoon.
Met Her Honour Dr. Linda Haverstock at a cocktail party while she was Lt. Gov.

These people are all celebrities in my book ~ if you don’t know who they are, Google them!

I’d love to hear your stories!

We were at the same Boston Pizza Lounge having drinks and playing Golden Tee as the members of Wide Mouth Mason who were having some sort of bachelor soiree...

Okay, well I have never posted on your page but I'm gonna do it today...

My cousins husband gambles with Ben Affleck, does that count?

Oh and one of the guys from Wide Mouth Mason asked me out. I wasn't thinking they were really celebs but our little friend there seems to so we'll go with it.

Gambling with Ben Affleck absolutely counts. Although every time I say his name, I picture the little duck running around trying to sell insurance...
