Helpful Hints ~ Compliments
When you are complimenting someone on their appearance, especially a woman, it might sound a little more sincere if you keep the obvious surprise out of your voice whilst saying "Do you ever look pretty!"
I ran into a woman twice at a grocery store. The first time I saw her she said, "Belle, you look so tired." I must have looked like hell. The second time she said, "Belle, you look so great, what have you done to yourslef." As far as I knew, nothing.

Yeah, like it's the first time in your life you were out and about looking almost human. LOL

ReplyDeleteNope, it wasn't the same day, I would say it was a few months apart. I hope I don't run into her again as I haven't aged gracefully.
