New & Improved Wilma! Now With 50% Less Flem!

I went to the doctor.  Yes, the doctor I am stalking {what can I say?  He's precious to me... so preshshshshsious!} I went because I was sick & tired of being sick & tired.  I was done with the 4 colds in 5 weeks.  I was over the whole "gonna be sick for the foreseeable future" thing that was going on.


You know what he did?  Nothing.  That's right, boys & girls, NOTHING.  Apparently, it is viral & I gotta fight it on my own.


Huh.  Cuz that's been working so well for me so far.


Anyhoo, so I went to the drug store {my fav shopping place, well, after the Liquor Board Store, naturally} & I loaded up on cold medications.  Then I came home & I took 'em all!  Yup.  All of them.  For several days.  & used my Neti pot every morning.


& guess what?  I'm starting to feel better.  The Kleenex usage has noticeably lowered & I am able to go HOURS without coughing. 


I don't want to say too much & jinx it, but I think possibly, mayhaps, I am on the mend. 


Several visits to the masseuse & the chiropractor have also resulted in improvement in my back & I am now able to drive The Bullet again.  I think another week should do it!  Then it's back on the treadmill like a demon.  I am ahead in the weightloss bet {oh, did I mention I'm in another weightloss bet?  Well, I am & I'm ahead} but I don't want to get complacent.  Plus, yesterday I measured & I wasn't pleased to see some growth.  growth = bad!

In other news, I enjoyed an evening out with the Seksi Gurlz on Saturday.  The Town of Dodge had a big Ladies Gala with drinks & food & prizes & entertainment & I got to hang with 6 fab friends, as well as see/chat/drink with several other ladies that I very much like. 


We will say good bye to one of the Seksi Gurlz this summer, as AlleyCat is moving to The Town of York & abandoning me leaving our block.  I will miss her calming presence, her pleasant demeanor, & her fab sense of humour.  But, as personal experience has taught me, friends are only as far away as the phone & computer.  We will keep in touch.

Company is coming this weekend, & as I am working the next couple days, a-cleanin' I must do today.  I am overjoyed & totally excited about it.
